Jeanette was a longtime, active member of Holt Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school, vacation bible school, and played the piano. She was an avid gardener and loved to knit, read, and put together jigsaw puzzles. She hosted children of missionaries from Holt Baptist Church while they were in the field. She also enjoyed traveling, especially camping all around the state of Michigan.
She is survived by her 3 children, Gary (Kadra) Parker, Sharon Parker, and Richard (Nancy) Parker; 5 grandchildren, Matthew Parker, Jon Larie, Kimberly Francies, Chelsea McDermott, and Clinton Parker; and 4 great-grandchildren, Hudson, Abigail, Charlotte, and Declan.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Dean R. Parker, in 2013; brother, Amos Wrook; grandson, Jeremy Larie; and great-granddaughter, Emma Parker.
The family would like to extend a thank you to the staff at Dimondale Nursing Care Center for the wonderful care provided to Jeanette over the past 9 years.
Her funeral service was held on Friday, October 5, 2018, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel. Interment will follow in Maple Ridge Cemetery.
