Mildred Eloise Moore

A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, 1999, in Young's Funeral Home for Mildred Eloise Moore, who died Sept. 18 at age 81.

Mrs. Moore was born March 11, 1918, in Frenchburg, Ky. Her maiden name was Nickells [sic]. She moved to Portland in 1947 and in the 1950s was a telephone operator. Later, she was a clerk for Safeway, mostly in the Beaverton store. She was a member of Metzger Methodist Church. In 1935, she married William Moore; he died in 1977.

Survivors include her son, William M. of Beaverton; daughter, Barbara G. Talbot of Portland; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Private interment will be in Riverview Abbey Mausoleum. The family suggests remembrances to the American Heart Association or the Salvation Army.
