Louisville - 86, of Louisville passed away Wednesday September 26, 2018 at Hosparus Inpatient Care Clinic. He worked for many years at Churchill Downs and Keeneland and, finally at the age of 83, retired from his retirement job. He and his wife both loved the horses. He was also an avid tennis player and excellent bridge player, and will be missed dearly at his club, LTC.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Muir Durbin
He is survived by daughter, Mary Elizabeth Bale (Steve); grandsons, Bradley (Jessica) and Brian Doering; and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10-12pm Saturday September 29, 2018 at Ratterman Funeral Home 3711 Lexington Rd. "in St. Matthews" with Memorial service to follow. Expressions of Sympathy in lieu of flowers can be made to Hosparus Health of Louisville.
