Louie D. McClung, age 80, of LaGrange, GA passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018. Louie was born April 1, 1938 in Thomaston, GA to the late Archie James McClung and Louise Wade McClung.
Louie is survived by his wife, Marie McClung; daughter, Beth McClung; son, David and Lori McClung; and son Philip and Angela McClung; sisters, Pat Storey, Bonnie Briscoe, Shelby McClung; grandchildren; Matt and Lauren McClung, Hannah and Adam Holcomb, Hilary and Tony Bailey, Kelly McClung, Brad McClung, Duncan McClung, Dalton McClung and Eli McClung; and five great grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel. A celebration of life service will be Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Olin White officiating. Burial will follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery.
