Sue was a lifelong resident of Dighton and Swansea. She is predeceased by her parents, Robert and Mary (Smith) Lafrance, and her brother, Robert. She is survived by her sisters Joan Arruda and Carol Welshman, several nieces and nephews, and her good friends, Debbie Bourque and Linnea Steves. In addition to running marathons, one of Sue's favorite pastimes was enjoying a meal with friends and a good bottle of wine.
Sue graduated from Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School in 1967. She was an Executive Assistant at Princess House, Inc., in Taunton, MA, from 1970 to 1991, and Cumberland Engineering in South Attleboro, MA, from 1991 to 1994. She was a Senior Executive Assistant at Amgen in West Greenwich, RI, from 1997 to her passing in 2016. Please raise a glass in her memory.
