A memorial service for Ward R. Eason of Dayton will be held at 10:30 this morning in the chapel of Macy & Son Funeral Directors, McMinnville.
Mr. Eason died Aug. 18, 2004, in his home. He was 69.
Born Oct. 30, 1934, in Tucson, Ariz., he was the son of Dr. Jack B. and Rose Corbin Eason. As a youngster, he moved to Florida, then to Olympia, Wash. He later moved to Spokane, Wash., where he graduated from high school.
He earned a bachelor's degree in forestry from the University of Washington. He was in the Navy ROTC program during college.
He and Anna Maree Haak were married June 17, 1955.
