Helen Kathleen Walton passed away peacefully on September 25, 2018 at the age of seventy-four.

She was born in Salt Lake City on December 13, 1943 and was a longtime resident whose great-grandfather, Jordan Brady, arrived in the Salt Lake Valley by ox train in 1850 as part of the Warren Foote Company.

Kathie loved the Savior and was lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Kathie is survived by her brother, Roger (Mary) Cruser, of Merced, California; nephews, Daryl Cruser of Oxnard, California and Bruce (Heather) Cruser of Port Hueneme, California, and dear friend, Sherry Everett, of Ventura, California. She is preceded by her husband, Phillip Walton; father, Reed Cruser; and mother, Leah Brown Cruser.

The family would like to extend thanks to everyone at Beehive Homes of Salt Lake, especially Michael and all the hospice workers, especially Angel.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy. A viewing will be held prior to the services, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
