Patricia A. Coant, 74, of Fulton, died May 9, 2007 at Lee Memorial Hospital in Fulton surrounded by her family. She was born in Gouverneur and resided in Fulton since 1941. She was the head teller at Key Bank in Fulton, retiring in 1986. Pat was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fulton. She and her husband were former members of the Shirts and Skirts and Port City Square's Square Dancing Clubs. Pat was predeceased by a daughter, Darleen M. Granzow, who died April 15, 2007. Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Frederick M. Coant; four daughters, Kathleen A. (Edward) Jenkins, Nancy L. Bartlett, Cheryl L. (Randy Bergman) Hutchins all of Fulton and Diane S. Dickquist of Minetto; a sister, E. Delores Kirker of Wolcott; three brothers, C. Andrew Puffer of South Carolina, Arthur F. Puffer of Fulton and Thomas E. Puffer of Texas; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are 12 noon, Monday at the First United Methodist Church, 1408 State Route 176, Fulton. Burial will be at Fairdale Rural Cemetery, Hannibal. Calling hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton. Contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
