Jeremy Wayne Martin, 43, of Moberly, MO, formerly of Macon, MO, passed away on Monday, September 24, 2018, in Ottumwa, IA.

Jeremy was born on October 12, 1974, in Kansas City, MO. He was united in marriage to Rachel Moncrief on April 21, 2015 in Macon. Jeremy was a 1994 graduate of Macon High School in Macon, MO. He was a proud member of the Boilermakers Local 83 of Kansas City, MO. He worked hard and played hard, and enjoyed camping, fishing, spending time with his boilermaker brothers and especially his children.

Jeremy is survived by his wife Rachel, of the home; four children, Chase Martin of the home, Cade Martin of Liberty, MO, Rex Cashatt of the home, and Avereigh Lees of Macon; his biological mother, Diana Martin of Arkansas; his mother, Kim Smith of Bevier, MO; grandparents, Junior Martin and wife Mary; one brother, Jamie Smith of Columbia, MO; three sisters, Lindsey Smith of Bevier, MO, Shawna Schildt of Nebraska, and Jessica Smith of Arkansas; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, brother boilermakers and friends.

He was preceded in death by two grandmas, Vivian Leftler and Loretta Janes; and his nephew, Nathan Martin.

Memorial services will be 2:00 pm, Monday, October 1, 2018, at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Macon, with Pastor Delbert Earywine officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon, until the time of service, at the funeral home in Macon. The family suggests memorials be made to the Children’s Education Fund.
