Graveside service for Oma Gene (Warden) Wilson will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 28, 2018 at Highland Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday, September 27 from 1pm-8pm, with family receiving visitors from 6pm-8pm. Oma passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018. She was 76.

Born March 8, 1942 in Inola, Oklahoma to Omer and Lahoma (Ludlow) Warden, Oma attended school at Inola, graduating with the class of 1960. Following her schooling, she married Jerry Wilson on March 3, 1961. The couple made Claremore home for a time before moving to Inola; and the last 3 years have been spent back in Claremore. Oma began working for Rogers County Bank, starting out as a teller and later becoming a bank manager. She loved her work and the many friends she made during her time there.

Family was most important and she loved spending time with them, especially those grandchildren. Oma enjoyed traveling on road trips and the fall tours were her favorites. She collected antiques and loved cheering her grandchildren's teams and the OU Sooners.

Oma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jerry, and her son, Brian Wilson, sister, Virginia Lee and brother, Jerry Lynn.
