Mildred Olive (Nance) Meyer of La Vernia, passed away January 11, 2005 at the age of 92 years.

Preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm J. Meyer and a daughter, Carolyn Ruth Meyer.

Mrs. Meyer was a native of Leesville, TX and a graduate of Southwest Texas State Teachers College. She was an elementary school teacher for more than 30 years teaching in Weesatche, San Antonio, Selma/Converse, and Garland, TX. Mrs. Meyer also assisted her husband with the family business known as "Dutch Meyer's Fence Company'' in San Antonio. She was a member of the La Vernia United Methodist Church.

Service Friday, January 14, 2005 10:00 AM Finch Funeral Chapel.

Interment Leesville Cemetery Leesville, Texas.

Visitation will take place Thursday at Finch Funeral Chapel between the hours of 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Memorials may be made to the La Vernia, TX 78121.
