Rita Kathleen "Susie" Salley Ingram, age 69, of Ramseur died Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Randolph Health, Asheboro.
Rita "Susie" was born March 4, 1949, the daughter of Roy Edward "Pete" and Margaret Louise Price Salley.
Susie was a native of Randolph County and was a retired Cosmetologist after 20 years. She was a member of Grace Community Fellowship where she was affectionally known as "Mama Rita". Susie was a caring, Godly lady and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and a friend to everyone. She enjoyed loving her grandbabies, bird watching and flower gardening. In addition to her parents, Susie was preceded in death by her brothers: Tommy Salley and Gary "Dude" Salley and sister; Sandra Salley.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years: Milton Ingram; three daughters: Susan Lewallen and her husband, Larry, Melissa Dickens and her husband, Mike and April Fields and her husband, Derrick all of Asheboro; grandchildren: Kylie Fields, Baylie Fields and Ethan Dickens; sister: Gina Anwar and husband Amr, brother: Ricky Salley and his wife, Teresa, all of Asheboro.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Grace Community Fellowship, 7500 Hwy 64 East, Ramseur, NC.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 11:00 am at Grace Community Fellowship, 7500 Hwy 64, East, Ramseur, NC 27316 with Pastor Shaun Greene and Pastor Ken Huggins officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
