Rosie Mildred Thompson, 84 of Blanchester, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 22, 2018.
She was born on May 4, 1934 to the late Charles and Florence Burnell.
She was the beloved wife of 67 years to the late Cecil E. Thompson; loving mother of Ronald Thompson, Kathy (Timothy) Trimble, Lisa Hair, and Tonda (Jeffrey) Davis; grandmother of Angela (Andy) Maybrier, Roger Inlow, Richard Rankin, Tabitha Wallace, Chandra (Bryson) Thompson, Cari (Ryan) Williams, Devan Hair, Kayla (Ben) Myers, Zachary Davis, and Mei-Mei Davis. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Ethel Morris; and a half-brother, Charles Burnell.
She was a longtime member of Bible Baptist Church of Wilmington.
A visitation will be held at Evans Funeral Home, 1944 OH 28, Goshen, on Friday, September 28 from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Joshua Dixon officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Memorial Gardens.
