"Mrs Emma M Anderson, 87, of Fifth Avenue, Lakewood, NY, died at 12:55 pm Wednesday, April 12, 1989, at the Warren Manor, Warren. Mrs Anderson was born in Pittsburgh, Aug 21, 1901, the daughter of the late Frederick and Maria Schramm Wieland. She was married to David S Anderson. He preceded her in death in July 1951. She is (sic) a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Jamestown, NY. She is survived by a daughter, Miss Rita M Anderson, Lakewood, NY; a brother, Frederick Wieland of Titusville; four sisters, Mrs Josephine Hoban and Mrs Elizabeth Landas, both of Titusville, Mrs David (Anne) Earnest of Pittsburgh and Mrs Eugene (Christine) Gormont of Sheffield; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, a brother, Herman Wieland, and two sisters, Mrs Matilda Jacobson and Mrs Marie Ovitt, preceded her in death. Friends may call at the Gordon B Garrett Funeral Home...[where] the funeral service will be conducted [Friday] by the Rev Paul Settergren, pastor of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Jamestown, NY. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery."
