Vietnamese native, Hong Nguyet Nguyen, died Monday, September 24, 2018, at her Ardmore residence, following an extended illness at the age of 81 years, 5 months and 23 days.
Daughter of the late Kiet Van Nguyen and Manh Thi Ky, Hong was born March 31, 1937 at Sa Dec, Vietnam. She and Tieng Van Truong were married in Vietnam, he preceded her in death in 1986.
In addition to her parents and husband, Hong was preceded in death by a daughter, Truong Hong Phuong, four sisters and a brother.
Survivors include her daughters, sons, their spouses and children; Thuy Hong Truong, Truong Tieng Thanh, Truong Tieng Trung, Truong Hong Thu, Truong Tieng Thuan, Truong Tieng Thien, Truong Tieng Thong and Truong Tieng Thy; grandson, Nhan Thien Le; sisters, Nguyen Thi Dung, Nguyen Thi Thanh, Cao Thu Thuy and Cao Ngoc Dao.
A time of visitation and support for family and friends will be from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 29, 2018, in the Centennial Chapel of Harvey-Douglas Funeral home; followed by funeral services at 3:00 p.m in the chapel. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
