He grew up in Topeka, graduating from Topeka West High School in 1963. Brian spent his working life in the advertising business, working in Kansas, Nebraska, California, Missouri and Florida. He loved people and was known for his bright smile and hardy laugh. In recent years, Brian had found a love of bicycling. Following retirement, he spent many happy hours riding the trails near his home.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents and his stepfather, John Hosler. He is survived by a sister, Marilyn Homan (Mike) of Topeka, and three brothers: John Keith (Gladys) of Reno, Nevada; Scott Hosler and Kevin Hosler of Topeka; nieces, nephews and many friends who loved him. Services will be held Friday, April 29, at 1:00 at Saint David's Episcopal Church in Topeka. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society of Topeka.
