Bennie Jean Green, 93, of Pine Bluff, passed away at Trinity Village Medical Center on June 30th, 2022.
Bennie Jean was born August 9th, 1928, to Benjamin Watson and Laura Wingard Watson. She was reared and received her early education in the Sulphur Springs Community, graduating from Watson Chapel High School.
She married her husband, Vernon Green, on September 28th, 1949, and spent her life caring for her family as a homemaker.
Benne Jean enjoyed being with her family, visiting with friends, gardening, sewing, traveling, and was a faithful member of Hawley United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband (Vernon); a brother (Clem Watson); and a sister (Winnie Ruth Gean).
She is survived by her sons Neal Green (Theresa) of Sulphur Springs and Glenn Green (Nina) of El Dorado; five grandchildren, Melissa Bird (Jason), Brian Green, Daniel Green, Chase Green (Elizabeth), and Tyler Green; three great grandchildren, Alexia Green, Bradley Green, and Braxton Green; and a sister, Nedgie Boggan.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, July 6th, 2022, at Fitzhugh Cemetery with Dr. Kurt Boggan officiating.
Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
