Robert Lee Moyers, Jr., 69, husband of Juanita Waters Moyers, of Summerville, SC passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at his residence. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday afternoon, August 28, 2016 at 2 o'clock in Parks Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 950 W. Faris Rd, Greenville, SC 29605. Robert was born February 4, 1947 in Charleston, SC, a son of Robert L. Moyers, Sr. and Esther Chestnut Moyers. He worked in communication systems, and loved fishing and riding motorcycles. He served in the US Air Force and was a Shriner and 32nd Mason. In addition to his wife, Juanita, Robert is survived by his son, Ray E. Jones (Sharon) of Moncks Corner; four daughters, Gidget N. Haird (Omar), Kelly L. Moyers, Dawn M. Croteau (Sam) all of Guthrie, OK, and Tracy L. Swiatkowski of Charleston; three brothers, Ken Lance (Jennifer) of Ridgeville, Sam (Theresa) Helms of Moncks Corner, and Scott Swiatkowski (Tracy) of Charleston; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert Moyers, Sr. and Esther Moyers and his sister, Jeanean M. Coker.
