Douglas Ray Lambert was born October 29, 1944 in Alcorn County, MS, the son of the late Herbert and Beatrice Glover Lambert. Mr. Lambert departed this life on September 24, 2018 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 73 Years, 10 Months, 26 Days.

He was united in marriage to Mary Rickman on November 6, 1965. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He had worked for Tri-County Convalescent Home in Adamsville as a cook for many years and also worked for Smith's Home Center in Corinth, MS. Doug attended Liberty Church of Christ and Falcon Baptist Church over the years. Some of his favorite things were: spending time with family, fishing, cooking, gardening, camping and hunting. There were so many things Doug enjoyed; but close to the top of the list was playing with his puppies.

Mr. Lambert is survived by his wife Mary Rickman Lambert; his children: Marcus Lambert (Ronda), Ronnie Lambert (Renee), Angela Nanney; two sisters: Janice Rhoades and Elizabeth Burney; two brothers: Darrell Lambert and Rodney Lambert; thirteen grandchildren: Michael Lambert, Mallory Lambert, Kasie Lambert, Christopher Butler (Sheena), Dusten Lambert, Synica Berryman, Tyler Berryman, Zach Lambert, Sarah Beth Lambert, Sakia Felks, Cody Felks, Shelby Newbourn,and Zach Newbourn; eight great grandchildren: Kaytlynn Welch, Sophia Lambert, Kendall Butler, Taylor Butler, Jon Tyler Berryman, Eli Berryman, Ava Felks, and Wyatt Newbourn; as well as other family, Bro. Jake Houston and family, his church family, his neighbors: the Inman's, and the Scott's, and officer Ron Pilkington.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Lambert was preceded in death by a son, Michael Lambert; and a brother, Donald Lambert.
