Bertha Cleo Reeves, age 44, died suddenly
at 2:15 , Friday afternoon at her home,
1102 Bowles St.
Funeral services will be conducted at
1:30 p.m., Sunday, at her home with the
Rev. C.L. Cobbs officiating.
Brown services will have charge of
burial at City Cemetery.
Mrs. Reeves is survived by her husband,
William Nathan Reeves;
daughter, Hazel Leota;
a son, Lonnie Clifton;
and one sister, Mrs. J. W. Raney, of Killen, Al.

Bertha Cleo was the Mother of Lonnie Clifton
and Hazel Leota Reeves-Wolf.

Her husband was buried next to her, but the
Cemetery doesn't have any record of him
being there. Bertha & Nathan have a
grandson that clearly remembers his
grandfather being buried there.
The grandson is living in Florida as of
June 2013.
