Fred Teller Debenport, of Arlington, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018. He was born on November 23, 1939 in Tyler, Texas to Jerald Randolph Debenport Sr. and Maurine Ophelia (Teller) Debenport. Fred was married to Janie (Neese) Debenport for fifty years. Fred was in the first graduating class of John Tyler High School in Tyler, graduated from Tyler Junior College with an industrial control electronic degree, and also was part of the University of Houston’s first graduating class with a bachelor of science in electronic electrical engineering. He was a Petty Officer 1st Class P 3rd Radioman in the United States Navy and was a missionary with the International Mission Board in the mass communication center in Taipei Taiwan for fifteen years. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother John Debenport; sister, Corrine Wells; and granddaughter, Elesha Debenport.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Janie Debenport; children, Tony Debenport and wife Karen and Steve Debenport and wife Michelle; grandchildren, Dwight Debenport, Hannah Debenport, Daniella Debenport, Zachary Debenport, Eli Debenport; brothers, Jerald Debenport and Frank Debenport.

In lieu of flowers Fred requested to have gifts to A Wish with Wings, 3751 West Fwy Fort Worth, Texas 76107.

Funeral service for Fred will be Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 11:00AM at Emerald Hills Funeral Home in Kennedale with interment to follow at Emerald Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the funeral service.
