Courtney Marie Ertel-Brown, 24, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018 in New Haven, IN. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN. Courtney was a graduate of New Haven High School. Always being a hard worker, she worked through high school at Golden Years Nursing Home. Most recently, she worked with WaterFurnace International. Courtney was a devoted mother and loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed softball and was crafty. People will always remember her contagious smile and her unwavering ability to light up a room. Surviving are her parents; her 4 beloved children; 6 brothers; 6 sisters; 2 paternal grandmothers; 5 maternal grandparents; step-parents; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and a host of loving friends. Courtney was preceded in death by 3 grandparents. Funeral service is 10AM Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Home Lakeside Park 1140 Lake Avenue with calling one hour prior to the service. Calling 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday, September 24, 2018 at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Home.
