Father of Gloria Neville and her friend Bobby Batson of Oklahoma, RIchard and his wife Janet of Port Elgin, and Bob and his friend Jane Bernardi of Port Elgin. Papa to Evelyn and her husband Derrell James of Allen, Texas; Scott and his wife Catherine Thede of Kincardine, Jennifer and her husband Jon Pope of Bowmanville, Kim and her husband Mike Kuntz of Kitchener, Mark of Port Elgin, Greg and his wife Shiela of Point Clark, and Brad and his wife Sarah of Southampton. Great-grandpa to Dylan and Hayden Pope, Ryan and Lauren Thede, Hunter Smith-Thede, and Josh and Julie James. Brother of Orma Crawford of Sarnia. Survived by his cousins Carl and Irene Craig of Toronto and Olive Gunn of Port Elgin. Prececeased by his parents Milton and Elvina Thede, and by his sisters Alaire Doll and Lynda Rushton. Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin chapel, Port Elgin (Town of Saugeen Shores). Funeral service will be conducted in the chapel with the Rev. Gordon Williams officiating. Interment Sanctuary Park Cemetery, Port Elgin. Memorial contributions to Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy."
