Troy McBride, 44, of Niobrara, NE

Funeral services were 1 PM, Thursday, June 14, 2018 at the White Swan Community Center in Lake Andes, SD. Burial was in the Presbyterian Cemetery in Greenwood. Wake services were Monday at the Community Center. Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner, SD was in charge of arrangements.

Troy Dean McBride was born on October 12, 1973 in Flandreau, South Dakota to Susan McBride and Richard Kitto. Troy made his journey to the Spirit World on June 9, 2018 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton.
Troy resided and grew up in Lake Andes, South Dakota in which he lived with this Maternal Grandparents, Morris and Mae “Chubby” McBride the majority of his early years, in return he earned the name “Grandma’s Boy”.
Troy graduated from “Andes Central High” in 1992. He had made numerous friends or “Good Buddies” in which these “good buddies” will take him to his final resting place.
Troy was a Security Officer many years for the Fort Randall Casino. He then relocated to Santee, Nebraska and continued his career as Surveillance for the Ohiya Casino since 2014 where he was currently employed.
Troy was dedicated to his family, friends and his career. He had a soft spot & loving heart for those in need. Troy had two favorite ladies that he would visit and talk to; they were Auntie Donna and Anne McBride.
Troy was preceded in death by: father, Richard Kitto, maternal grandparents: Morris and Mae (Chubby) McBride, uncles: Harold, Russell (Jake) and JR McBride, auntie: Sharon McBride, cousins: Beau Rave, Jeffery Derby Sr., Harvey Derby and Rhonda Mae Derby, and other close relatives.
Troy leaves to mourn his mother: Susan and “Stepfather” Hilario Rojas of Santee, Nebraska, sisters: Rico and Rochelle, three brothers: Silas, Sean and Sirius, all of Santee, Nebraska, two sons: Kooper and Quinn McBride of Lake Andes, South Dakota, aunts: Donna McBride, Lake Andes, South Dakota, Roger and Carol Trudell of Santee, Nebraska and Les and Gloria Rave of Santee, Nebraska, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
