She was a native of Blount County and a graduate of Everett High School. She was a homemaker and in the 1970s she was a member of the Akron Ohio Childrens Home Board.
She was preceded in death by her father, John H. Teffeteller and mother, Lucille Ball Teffeteller.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth L. Singleton. Son, Kenton L. Singleton; Granddaughters, Amanda and Amber of S.C.; Sisters and their husbands, Bobbie and Fred Hoyos and Joan and Ralph Shields; Nephews, Fred K. Hoyos, Tim and Trent Shields, all of Maryville, and Joseph Hoyos of Chesapeake, Va.;
Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. on Monday, May 12, 2003 at Grandview Cemetery.
