ELIZABETH MAXINE JONES, born April 5, 1931, went to be with her Lord on Friday, February 26, 1999.
Maxine was one of eleven children born to Reverend C.E. and Anna Mize Womack in Beech Springs, LA. She was a member of Genoa Baptist church.
She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Harold Jones, Jr. and daughter, Terri Elizabeth Jones.
Maxine is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Robert H. "Bob" Jones; daughters, Annette O'Brien and husband Herbert, Sandra Potts Brannon and husband Danny; son, William "Bill" Del Jones and wife Karma; grandchildren, John S. Kasper, David W. Kasper and wife, Shelly, Terri K. Tucker, Edward T. Potts, Jr. and wife, April, Michael D. Brannon and Anna Jones; great grandchildren, Priscilla K. Freitag, Patricia K. Freitag, Joseph E. Tucker, Jr. and Makayla M. Potts; and five sisters and five brothers.
Viewing will begin after 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, February 28, 1999 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 1, 1999 in the Main Chapel of Forest Park Lawndale, with Reverend Jim Bowman officiating.
Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. Forest Park Lawndale 6900 Lawndale, Houston, Texas.
