On September 19, 2018 Susan Barbara Wilkinson completed her earthly journey and entered into the loving arms of her savior, Jesus.

She was under the gentle care of Hospice and Community Care at home surrounded by family and friends.

She was born on December 27, 1944 in Trenton, NJ to Frank Holgate, Jr. and Matilda (nee Marsley) Holgate.

She valiantly fought a year long battle with cancer.

She was predeceased by both her parents and her brother Frank Holgate, 3rd.

She is survived by her husband. They were married on August 24, 2014.

Surviving is her brother, of Langhorne, PA along with sons. She is also survived by step-sons, and a step-daughter.

She is loved and missed by a whole wonderful bunch of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces. We have lost a wonderful and beautiful lady.

Sue retired from BOYO Transportation of Ephrata, PA where she was an aide to physically and mentally challenged students who also grew to love her.

Before that she worked for EARS (Ephrata Area Rehab Services), also as an aide.

Earlier in her career, she worked for the George School in Newtown, PA, a private Quaker boarding school.

Sue also worked many years as a private care giver.

Sue loved music. Every Friday night you would find her at the Friday Night Jam most recently held at the Denver Fire Hall.

It was there she met Harry and the rest is history.

Sue and Harry faithfully attended Cornerstone Fellowship Church in Coatesville, PA. A year ago, Sue and Harry were appointed deacons at the church. Sue was both overwhelmed and proud to be a Deaconess with the blessing to serve our Lord.

A memorial service will be held at Cornerstone Fellowship Church, 101 Kylies Road, Coatesville, PA, on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 11:00 am.
