Shirley F. Brady of Irving passed away December 27, 2016. She was born on July 1, 1922 in New Hartford Connecticut to Harold Houghton and Mabel “Jester” Frost. Shirley was a member of The First Baptist Church in Irving and a Founding member of The Irving Women’s Club and a member of The Turf Turners Garden Club for over 50 years. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert Lee Brady in 1969; son Bradford Lee Brady in 2014 and sister Barbara Marshall in 2016. Left to cherish her memory are son Ben Brady; granddaughters Shanna Leigh Brady, Shelby Elizabeth King, Heather Brady and Amanda Kline; great-granddaughter Nova Leigh; sister-in-law Catherine “Tink” Frost and nephews William Asa Wilson III; Dr. Steven Marshall Frost and niece Marcia Frost McGram. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 30, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Irving. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Dallas.
