William H. Bontrager
William Harrison Bontrager, 67, of 319 Fifth street NW, a Cedar Rapids resident for 39 years died at his home at 3 a.m. Saturday following a long illness. He was born July 25, 1887, in Johnson county and was married to Mary Elizabeth DeWees Oct. 18, 1911, at Kalona.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Woodrow W. Bontrager of Cedar Rapids; a brother, Joe Bontrager of Wakarusa, Ind., and two granddaughters. Mr. Bontrager was a member of Trinity Methodist church.
Services will be conducted in the Turner chapel at 3:30 p.m. Monday by the Rev. Elton D. Wells. Burial will be in Linwood cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
