Charlene was born in Jackson Township on January 6, 1942 and was the daughter of the late William M. and Mary A. (Hoover) Miller. She was a former member of the Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren and enjoyed attending church at the Brethren Home.
She is survived by her sisters Ethel Donner and Marlene Ayers and her brother Wayne Miller all of Spring Grove; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Mildred Krout, Lauretta Sterner, Janet Miller and her brothers Elwood and Glenn Miller.
A funeral service in celebration of her life will be held on Friday at 10:00 am at Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service Inc., 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove. She will be laid to rest following the service at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Spring Grove. Viewings will be held on Thursday from 6-8 pm and on Friday from 9-10 am at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to The Good Samaritan Fund at the Brethren Home Community, 2990 Carlisle Pike, New Oxford PA 17350.
