He was born in Hadley, NY on April 14, 1940. The son of the late Clarence and Edith Mosher Edwards.
Joel spent most of his life working in the woods and then moved onto machine work for Grade A Construction in Day, NY.
He enjoyed bar hopping, and spending time on his buggy (side by side) touring through the woods. He loved spending time with family and friends and his Sunday visits with his brothers and his summer visits with his sister.
Survivors include his children; Paul (Wendy) Ferguson of Edinburg and Chris Edwards of Edinburg. Three sisters; Valerie (Earl) Seelow of Corinth, Kathy (Al DeSorbo) Dimick of Florida and Gail (Bim) Vandenburg of Edinburg with whom he lived with for over 25 years.
Three brothers; Wimp (Cindy Lucky) Edwards of Northville, George Edwards of Edinburg and Billy (Robin Horton) Edwards of Northville. He is also survived by three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Joel enjoyed spending time with his two sidekicks; Trever and Travis.
Burial will take place in Edinburg Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
