Dorothy M. Buchanan, 77, of Morganton, NC, died Sunday, April 6, 2008 at her residence.
Born in Haywood County, NC on July 10, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Emmett Mashburn and Margretta Smiley Mashburn.
Dorothy was a member of Dysartsville Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Buck" Tooms Buchanan; brother, Earl and Jimmy Mashburn; and an infant daughter, Shelby Jean Buchanan.
The funeral will be held at Dysartsville Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
