Peggy Russell Stephens, age 77, of Dickson, passed from this life on Friday, September 21, 2018 at the Life Care Center in Centerville. She was born on March 4, 1941 to the late Carl and Eula Jones. She was a faithful member to the Kedron United Methodist Church and more recently to the Dickson Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Peggy was a graduate of Joelton High School class of 1959. She loved her family and was always willing to help people in need. Peggy was also a long-time employee of Karen’s in Dickson.
Mrs. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her first husband Billy Dean Russell.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne Stephens, of Dickson; her daughter, Lisa Russell of Dickson; her sisters, Bettye Hardcastle and husband Tony, of Williamsport, Maryland, and Lillian Shively and her husband, Raymond, of Danville, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Billy Dean Lynn, of Jacksonville, Florida, and Stephen Russell Luna, of Dickson; and her 6 great-grandchildren, Kodak, Makayla, Darcie, Bentley, Knox and Finleigh.
