He was the grandson of Solomon David Evans of Dunklin MO. The informant on the death certificate was James Evans, a relative who was living in the household temporarily. Jacob is one of 3 brothers buried in the Marsh-Hazel cemetery at Kennett MO. The other two were Albert Sydney Evans and Roy Edmond Evans.
