“Paddo”, “Pat”, “Face”, “Patti”

Pat passed away peacefully on Mon., Sept. 10, 2018, at the age of 67. She joins her loving parents, Esther and Kenneth Schaefer; along with Patrick “PB” Bender whom she shared her life with for 25 years.

Pat is survived by her beloved sister Sue Ann (Dale) Miller. She was the “Fun Auntie” of Scot Miller and Jenifer (Mike) Daoust, great-aunt of Aiden and Chloe Miller. She is further survived by other relatives, many friends, and four legged “Varmints”.

Pat graduated from the University of LaCrosse with a degree in Physical Education; the career she loved the most was a customer sales representative with Johnson Brothers Liquor Company, and there’s where she met PB. They lived in Texas (where she wanted her “3-P’s”, a Pool, a Porsche and a Pony). Moving to Minnesota is where they found their “Lake Life” for many years. They also traveled extensively to China, Europe and many other places; but their favorite was Hawaii.

Following in the name of “Face”, Pat entered the glamorous world of Este'e Lauder as a cosmetic consultant and she was creative, fun loving, generous, personable and crafty person, most of all she was a great bargain hunter, hitting as many “rummie” sales as she could in a day. And when it came to fishing; her "secret chant" was heard by all the fish she caught.

A visitation for Pat will be held on Wed., Sept. 19, 2018 at the funeral home from 4:00 PM until the time of the 6:00 PM Memorial Service. Private burial will be held at Graceland Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Pat’s name Scleroderma Foundation - Greater Chicago Chapter, 125 S. Clark, 17th Floor, Chicago, IL 60603, [email protected], would be appreciated.
