Michael Ray McKee, 63, of 125 James Ave. passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018 at his home. Born July 24, 1955 in Harriman, TN, he was a son of the late Jerome and Elwanna R. King McKee and the husband of Pamela Morris McKee of the home. He was a veteran of the US Navy and was a retired captain at the Spartanburg County Detention Center. Sarge enjoyed his time at the auction with his friends and family and raising money for the Special Olympics. Survivors include his daughter, Amanda Seay of Travelers Rest; Two sisters, Lynn Ballenger and Rita Garrison both of Travelers Rest; two grandchildren, Kaitlyn Seay Hart and Shaina Seay, and two great-grandchildren, Kailea and Aliza Hart. He was predeceased by two brothers, Frederick C. McKee and Phill McKee, one sister, Sandra"Dean" Howard. A memorial service will be at 3 pm Sunday, October 7, 2018 at Piddlers Auction 122 N Moore Street Duncan with Rev. Jim Braziel officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 pm prior to the service at the auction.
