Mr. Anderson was a farmer and retired from the Chrysler Corporation, Newark, DE, as an assembler. He loved fox hunting, farming, snowmobiling, four-wheeling, and going to Potter County.
Survivors include his lifelong companion of 45 years, Deb Given; children, Elaine Robertson (Frank), Elkton, MD, Robert Anderson, Jr. (Robin), Rising Sun, MD, Ray Anderson (Brenda) and Ronnie Anderson, both of Elkton, MD; siblings, Barbara Spencer, Mouth of Wilson, VA, and Harry “Duke” Anderson (Bonnie), Wilmington, DE; 7 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Moore’s Chapel Cemetery, Elkton.
