Robert Arthur Miller was born to Parents Ira Roy Miller and Minnie Lee Pearl Tomes on 25 August 1928 in Chicago Illinois, Cook County. At age 16 yrs old, He had his mother sigh permission working papers on 30 Aug 1944 for him to go work for the U.S Coast Guard and get his Seaman's Papers. Later serving with the Merchant Marines. He served on 3 different vessels. In 1947 he lost his Seaman's discharge book , after spending 1 and 1/2 yrs in the hospital in 1948. He again signed for copies of his seaman's discharge Book in 1968 as well. He was known as a man that was a jack of all trades, holding many different jobs during his lifetime, . He was a Chicago Police Officer from 1958-1968 quitting right after the Chicago Riots, Was also an Ordained Minster , and a Truck driver for J. B. Hunt Trucking Company. He married three times, Which produced Children, along with Two affairs, which also produced children . He died from Heart Disease and Cancer. His short obituary listed below.

Mr. Miller was a retired truck driver.
He was born Aug. 25, 1928, in Chicago to Ira Roy and Minnie Lee (Thomas) Miller.
Survivors include his children, Erich Miller, Roland Miller, Rodney Miller, Ronald Miller and Roberta Miller; sister, Vera Marie and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Roy Edwards and Ronald Williams.
Robert's wishes were to be cremated with no services.
