Mr. Antoine Lee Woodard, more affectionately known as “Tater” was born to the late Mrs. Kate Trice Woodard and the late Mr. Albert Woodard Sr., on January 30,1960 in Thomaston, Upson County, Georgia.

He attended elementary school in Upson County School System and high school at R.E. Lee. When he reached young adulthood he went to work for Kentucky Fried Chicken.

He lived in the Triune Avenue community for many years. He enjoyed cooking, doing hair and directing weddings.

He was preceded in death by four sisters, Annie Kate Woodard, Roberta Alsobrooks, Susie Mary Woodard and Alma Lou Woodard. Two brothers, Mr. Bennie Floyd Woodard and Mr. Willie Woodard. Three nephews, Allen Woodard, Ashley Woodard and Rodney “BoBo “ Alsobrooks.

On Friday, August 24, 2018 at Harborview Nursing Home the Lord called his name. He answered and the Lord set his spirit free to come and rest. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memory, one sister, Mrs. Juanita (Bobby) Baker of Yatesville, Georgia and one brother Mr. Albert (Betty) Woodard , Jr. both of Thomaston, GA. Nieces and nephews,Trese Woodard , Birts (Chris) Ann Quiller (Tony), Crystal Baker (Mike) Christy Baker, Brandy Woodard (Darrell) Natalie Childss (Kenneth, Nannette Woodard, Felicia Woodard (Danny) Chad Woodard (Kona), Bobby Woodard, (June) Tangee Sullivan (Ray), Yolanda Alsobrooks, Katina Alsobrooks and Keith Alsobrooks. A host of cousins and other relatives and friends.
