Funeral services for Darrell Gene Reed, 58, of Canton, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, September 24, 2018 at the Canton Native American Gymnasium with Reverend Gerald Panana officiating. Interment will follow in Canton Cemetery under the direction of Pierce Funeral Home, Canton.

Darrell Gene Reed was born November 22, 1959 at Clinton, Oklahoma to Paul and Alda (Addison) Reed, Sr.

He departed this life on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at his home in Canton.

Darrell grew up at Eagle City and attended school at Fay, Oklahoma before moving to Canton and attending school there. Darrell and his brothers loved to be outdoors fishing and hunting. He enjoyed weightlifting, playing football and working on hotrods.

Darrell's father, Paul Reed, Sr., was a mechanic and was known to travel over the area to repair trucks, tractors and other equipment. Darrell spent many hours by his father's side learning how to repair vehicles.

Darrell was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Willene (Pickles); two brothers, John Reed, Sr. and Donald Ray Reed; one sister, Debbie Reed.

Survivors include three siblings, sister Bonita Cruz of Yukon, Oklahoma, brother Paul Watts Reed, Jr. and wife Melinda and sister Valeria Reed of Canton, Oklahoma; and a host of grandkids and nieces and nephews whom he loved very much. Condolences may be made online at www.piercefuneralhomes.com.
