Claude dedicated many years as a Machinist for McDonnel Douglas and was a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers – Lodge 837-C. He was very proud of his work ethic and an enthusiastic Union supporter.
He was a country boy at heart, constantly spending time tending to the farm, caring for horses, and enjoying his Old Western films – John Wayne being a favorite actor of his. He let nothing stop him from doing what he loved, including mowing the lawn even in his 90s. Spending time with his family was one of Claude’s greatest joys, especially raising his children and spoiling his grandchildren. He was always hosting barbeques and serving up his specialties: fried fish and fried turkey.
Claude was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in Claude’s name to The Guide Dog Foundation.
