Funeral services for Mrs. Jeanie Dale Johnson will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, September 24, 2018 at Forest Hill Baptist Church with Reverend Tom Leggett officiating.
Interment will follow in Butter Cemetery, Forest Hill, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Mrs. Johnson, 62, of Forest Hill, entered eternal rest on Saturday, September 22, 2018 in her residence with her loving family by her side.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Loyd and Evelyn Perkins; two sisters, Thelma Etheridge and Linda Perkins; three brothers, Doug Perkins, Johnny Soulter and Buck Henry and special friend, Laura Barker.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her loving husband of forty-three years, W.E. Johnson, Jr., of Forest Hill; two daughters, Kelly Johnson Mix and her husband, Jamie, of Lecompte and Amanda Johnson Ceasar and her husband, Cliff, of Basile; one brother, Danny Perkins and his wife, Nancy, of Forest Hill; seven grandchildren, Will, Cliff, Jr., Josh, Alonzo, Jamierion, Adrianna and Ezekial and honorary daughter, Tiffany Clark and Thomas Robinson.
Friends may call at Forest Hill Baptist Church on Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Monday, September 24, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. until time of service.
