Mrs. Edward, widow of the late George Edwards, was born in Humphrey's county, Tenn., on June 6, 1872, the daughter of George and Barbara Allen Buchanan.
She is survived by three sons, Henry and Cecil Edwards of Ridgely,, Tenn. and Gayther Edwards of St. Louis; a daughter, Mrs. Anne Johnson of Caruthersville; and two brothers John and Elbert Buchanan of Dyersburg, Tenn.

Mrs. Susie Edwards was born June 6, 1872, in Humphrey's county, Tenn., and departed this life September 13, 1953 at the age of 81 years, 3 months and 7 days.
She was first married to Benjamin Franklin Sims and seven sons and two daughters were born to them, some of whom preceded her in death. Later she married George Edwards, who also preceded her in death.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Annie Johnson and Mrs. Bessie Cottrell, both of Caruthersville; two sons, Henry Sims and Cecil Sims of Ridgely, Tenn.; a step-son, Gaither Edwards of St. Louis; 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; also a host of friends.
