Martha Lee Stevens, age 71, passed away from this life on September 21, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs, Ok. Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, 8 am – 8 pm at Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, 10 am at Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Chapel.
Martha was born on May 21, 1947 in Barber, Oklahoma to her parents Wade and Callie (Lee) Cochran. After receiving her general education from Central High School in 1966, she began a career as a private nursing. Martha cared for many clients during her 30 years plus career. She married the love of her life, Jimmie Stevens, on March 23, 1974 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Martha loved to go shopping for purses amongst other things, she loved to take road trips in all directions, and she enjoyed going to auctions and the casinos. Martha was a loving wife, mother, grandmother who cherished her family dearly and the moments they spent together.
She was preceded in passing by her parents Wade and Callie Cochran and her brothers Louie Cochran, Herbert Cochran, Charley Cochran and J.B. Cochran.
Martha is survived by her husband Jimmie Stevens, her daughters Janet (spouse Steven) McCaslin and Carolyn Vire, her grandchildren Jamie McCaslin, Jimmy McCaslin, and Joshua Scott Vire, her great grandchildren Jaiden Grundy, Jayla McCaslin, and Aleecia McCaslin, her sisters Nadine Coles and Wanda Hall, and other extended family members.
