Norman Douglas Watson, the son of Margaret (Herron) Fawcett of Campbellsville and the late Raymond Douglas Watson, was born Tuesday, January 11, 1955 in Campbellsville and departed this life on Thursday, September 20, 2018 in Lebanon at the Springview Hospital.
He was 63 years, 8 months and 10 days of age.
He had made a profession of Faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith. He was an automobile mechanic by trade and enjoyed going to Peddlers Mall and Dirt Track Racing, but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a sister: Janet Pickett.
Norman is survived by his mother: Margaret (Herron) Fawcett of Campbellsville; a daughter: Tiffany Bright and fiance’ Cory Smith of Lebanon; a sister: Lisa Tucker and husband Tony of Campbellsville; his longtime companion: Fran Bright of Lebanon; two grandchildren: Kenden Lee Bright and Easton Cole Smith and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Norman Douglas Watson will be Monday, September 24, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Bro. Jason Keltner will be officiating.
Family requests visitation from 5-8 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home.
