Mrs. Cecelia Barrett, 72, of 1862 South 31st Street in Kansas City, Kansas, passed away on Wednesday at Providence-St. Margaret Health Center. She was born in Kansas City and had lived in Kansas City, Kansas, most of her life. Mrs. Barrett was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, the St. Rose Altar Society and the PTO. She was survived by a son, Harold F. Barrett, Kansas City, Kansas; three daughters, Mrs. Janice Neumann and Mrs. JoAnn Jaklevic of Kansas City, Kansas, and Mrs. Elaine Stegman of Lancaster, California; a brother, Robert Crockett, of California; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Bunce and Mrs. Ruby O'Boynick, both of Kansas City, Kansas; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The Rosary was said at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Gibson-Butler Chapel. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday at the Gibson-Butler Chapel and at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery. The family suggested memorial contributions to Ward High School.
