NORTH FERRISBURG, VT. - James "Jim" Albert Rabideau, of North Ferrisburg, passed away peacefully on October 4th 2016 at the Porter Rehab. Center in Middlebury Vt.

Jim was born on May 31st 1927 in Keeseville, N.Y., he was the youngest of five born to Roy and Merilda (Champange) Rabideau.

He moved to the Green Mountain State in 1940 where he met and married his first wife Dorothy Margaret Dumas on December 19th 1946 in Burlington, Vermont.

He served as a Military Policeman in the US Marines from 1945-1946.

He then served in the US Air Force from 1951-1962.

His career brought him to China and Iceland and various places in the U.S.

From 1964, Jim was with the Air National Guard in Burlington, Vt.

In October of 1966 Jim started at General Electric as a Third Shift Patrolman and made Lt. and retired.

He met and married Joan S. Rabideau and traveled to many different places. They had many happy times bowling and made many friends.

He was predeceased by his wife; Joan S. Rabideau, his parents, two sisters; Ida Lessard and Alma Bressett, and one brother; Roger Rabideau.
