Jack L. Bennett, 81, of Myrtle Beach, SC and formerly of Roanoke, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2018. Jack was retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service. He was the Owner/Operator of Perfection Auto Body.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Janet; two children, Jeanne Bennett (Terry Ratliff) and Jeff Bennett (Cheryl); four grandchildren, Justin Knicely (Jill), John Knicely (Elise), Jordon Bennett and Jeremy Bennett; three great-grandchildren, Bennett, Jack and Brooks Knicely; and numerous other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations to go to Habitat for Humanity Roanoke.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, September 24, 2018 at the Chapel Mausoleum of Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Dr. Chris Monroe officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday, September 23 at Oakey’s Vinton Chapel. Online condolences may be made at www.oakeys.com.
