Dewey Strong, age 90, of Middletown, OH, passed away Thursday September 20, 2018. He was born in Saldee, KY on May 29, 1928 to the late Mahala (Fields) Will Strong. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Dewey retired in 1992 from Aeronca after 28 years of service; and attended Grace Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Clara Strong (2002); a step-son, Michael Snowden; his sisters, Margaret Bellamy, Reva Smith, Rachel Matthews and Anna Oaks; his brothers, Thurston and Charlie Strong. He is survived by his loving daughter Kim (Dave) Goodwin; his step daughters, Linda (Lance) Darnold and Vickie Morris; step-daughter-in-law, Sandy Snowden; 2 grandchildren; 6 step-grandchildren; 8 step-great-grandchildren; his sisters, Dora (Tom) Gault and Duredith Strong; his brother, George (Alice) Strong; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. (2 hours prior to the Service) Saturday September 29, 2018 at the Dalton Funeral Home, 6900 Weaver Rd., Germantown, OH, where the Funeral Service will follow at 12 p.m., with Pastor Max Fernandez and Pastor Jim Winters officiating. Burial will be at Woodside Cemetery.
