Nina Ruth Fiedler Schweitzer

Louisville - Nina Ruth Fiedler Schweitzer, 99, passed away on Thursday, September 20th, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, John H. Schweitzer and her daughter, Ruth Ann Keeling.

Ruth is survived by her children, Robert Schweitzer, M.D. (Norma), Stephanie Eiden of Alpharetta, GA.,Joseph Schweitzer, John C. Schweitzer (Kim) of Alpharetta, GA., Richard Schweitzer (Terrie) of Alexandria, VA., son-in-law, Robert Keeling Sr., 16 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

Ruth was a graduate of Holy Name Catholic School, Presentation Academy, and St. Helena's Commercial College, where she met John, her future husband. She was a member of the Queen's Daughters, and a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church for 64 years. Ruth and John traveled extensively during their retirement years, including many trips to European countries.

Ruth's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Raphael, 2141 Lancashire Avenue, on Saturday at 10 AM. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will immediately follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a charity of your choice.
